
Do your materials pass the ten metre test? And do they pass the one metre test?
In other words, do they catch the eye of the passer-by – and do they still look good and work well when they are ‘in the hand’?
Here’s a great way to see how some designs work and some simply don’t cut the mustard:
Walk past a leaflet dispenser – one of the ones with several ranks of leaflets. Pick up the first two that catch your eye. Walk on.
Now think about all the ones that were left behind, and all the trouble that went into them.
